Saini Samaj to back SAD-BJP candidates

ROOPNAGAR, Aug 10: The All India Saini Sewa Samaj has extended support to the ruling SAD-BJP combine in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. Speaking to ENS here today, its Punjab unit president, Kulwant Singh Paprala, announced unconditional support to the combine, citing several populist measures of the state government.
Himself a district general secretary of the ruling Akali Dal, Paprala said the nomination of Barjinder Singh Hamdard in the Rajya Sabha and representation of Tara Singh in the Assembly from among the Saini community reflected the Akali Dal's "pro-minority perceptions".
Paprala hoped that the Saini community will en block support the SAD-BJP candidates in Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Roopnagar and Patiala. In Hoshiarpur constituency, of which Roopnagar city is a part, the Saini community accounts for 1.6 lakh votes, he added.

It seems so funny one single person giving statements like that without any rime or reason. where in poor people are pushed to dark . who has given him the right to do so without consulting the voters. The poor Saini Community members want Backward class status . Thise politicians are responsible for the confusion , they should take the mandate from the people. Saini's will vote only if their genuine demand is met. They need BC status. If Jats can demand the OBC status why not we. In case they feel ashamed they should tell the world that what they have done for the community before projecting themselves as leaders of the community. They should tell the public the facts that why they are actually against giving BC status to Saini Community. The false ego problem will do only the damage to the community. They should consider the problems of whole community not their personal interests at the cost of others.
